Her partner in the club is Ryuka Shimizudani, her friend since 5th grade.

- I'm really sorry for scaring you back there. I'm not in the best of health, so sometimes I would suddenly collapse on the street like that. I just need some rest, and everything will be fine... Thank you for helping me get to the shrine. I'm Toki Onjoji. What about you?
- Hi, thanks for the company. I'm looking forward to practicing with you today.
- Ah... How tiring. I don't feel like practicing today. I just want to spend a whole day on Ryuka's lap! But there's a training match scheduled today... Oh, I can just ask someone to replace me! Well... are you free today?
- Being able to foresee the future doesn't mean victory is guaranteed. Even if I could influence all the discarded tiles, I still wouldn't be unable to prevent a Tsumo. Perhaps this is the "inevitable doom" Ms. Kaavi spoke of.
- Ways to improve relationships with others... How about exchanging diaries? Well, you can write down things about yourself and things that you find hard to tell in person. And through the pages, you will gradually know more about each other.
- So tired... Training is so hard, and life is so hard, too. I am in dire need of Ryuka's lap, and I'm craving Ryuka's curry...
- Ryuka's granny once said that you should not easily give up even if you have no point sticks. Nobody can predict the result of a match. This is why you've got to hold on till the end. The result might not be great, but the important thing is that you've tried your very best.
- Even if there's a difference in strength, with some luck, the weak might still prevail over the strong and ultimately enjoy the fruit of victory. That's Mahjong for you. And that was why I, someone who wasn't really good at anything, can win in Mahjong... That's the reason I fell in love with Mahjong.
- Wow... Just one demonstration and you can already erect the Riichi Bets stably. You're quite talented. What do you think? Standing Riichi Bets are pretty cool, right?
- Previously, Miss Miki cordially invited me to try her lap. She was so enthusiastic so I gave it a shot, and then... To be honest, I was really astonished. Although not as good as Ryuka's, it was still such a high-quality lap pillow nonetheless... It seems the world is indeed full of wonders... and great lap pillows...
- When you surround yourself with outstanding individuals, it's normal to compare yourself with them and be envious of something they have that you don't. However, I don't see the need for such a comparison... When you focus on the things you have, you'll realize that you are being envied by others as well.
- Thank... thank you. That's odd... Did I do anything that deserves such gratitude?
- Woah... What a great gift... Can... can I really have it? Thank you. Any return gift in mind? "Lap Pillow Voucher”... of Ryuka? No, no, no! Not that! You better think of something else.
- If I'm really focused, I can indeed foresee the outcome after two or even three turns. But doing so makes me sick. That's why I've promised Ryuka not to do such a risky thing. It may be a pity, but it hurts me more to see Ryuka getting upset... I guess I'll just follow her advice.
- It's not like I can make anyone's knees my pillow. I have pretty strict requirements for that. It must not be too thick or thin, and it must not have any muscles, as only the perfect amount of meat can create excellent flexibility. If one's lap couldn't reach such perfect balance, then it would only be considered a typical lap and not the perfect knee pillow. As of now, only Ryuka's can be considered a lap pillow.
- Ah... Isn't that the scheduling table FunaQ wrote? Where did you get that? Look at you getting all excited, don't tell me you want to take care of me, too...
- Everyone has an ideal version of themselves, someone they want to be. And to become this person, we all have something and lack something else. I was once envious of Ryuka's and Sera's capabilities, hoping to become as good as them. But Sera told me there's no need for such comparison as everyone is different. So, I'll do all that I can before becoming the ideal version of myself.
- There was a brief moment I felt helpless during the semi-finals, as if I was still the third-team player who admired Ryuka and Sera, who wasn't worthy to be the ace of the team... But after seeing the vanguard of Shindoji attacking with a smile even in that kind of a desperate situation reminded me that winning is nothing compared to the joy of playing... Responsibilities and objectives might be important and heavy, but what I want to do the most is to enjoy playing Mahjong, no matter what comes next, just like I did in the beginning.
- I would often assemble toy blocks alone when I was a kid. No matter how tall or high it goes, it will fall down in a blink of an eye. The same goes for life... When I just began playing Mahjong with Ryuka and the others, I would depict Mahjong as toy blocks. No matter how many points one has collected, it will only take an instant for them to all fall apart. And such thrill is what makes life so fun.
- Happy New Year! This year's wish... It will still be having a healthy body. And of course, I hope that I can live happily with Ryuka and everyone in the Mahjong Club every single day like I am right now.
- Valentine's... Day? Ah, that's today! I slept through the day yesterday and completely forgot about this... But, unlike Ryuka, I don't how to make chocolates, so what could I even do even if I remembered? Hmm... I guess any chocolates will do, even if it is not self-made, right? Well, how about giving this chocolate ball a try? It tastes decent.
